You are ENOUGH.

Whenever I share videos of my chaotic home I without question get messages from my followers thanking me for sharing what my house looks like.

So many of us feel SHAME about not being able to keep up with all of the housework on top of everything else we have going on. I'd bet more peoples houses look like mine than they do like a show home - but social media often shows us otherwise.

So here's a reminder that it's totally NORMAL to have a chaotic house.

We CANNOT expect ourselves to raise kids, clean, do all the laundry, cook all the meals, do all the shopping AND go to work. We would never hire just one person for all of those jobs. Something has to give.

So LET IT BE that kids have fun and make a mess and learn through play. Messy really is best. It doesn't make you less of a person - how tidy your house is doesn't make you morally any better or worse than anyone else. We can have boring immaculate homes when the kids have moved out.

We truly are LUCKY and PRIVILAGED to have healthy kids playing and smearing food everywhere. This is parenthood. I wouldn't have it any other way.
