How to Clean Drink Bottles – Keep Kids’ Bottles Mould-Free and Safe
Kids drink bottles can be disgusting.
I designed Flexiflasks because I realised I wouldn’t even want to drink from my kid’s old bottles. They were cheap, often made from low-quality plastic, and didn’t keep water cool. Plus, they were tough to clean, which meant they were a perfect environment for mould to grow.
To solve this, Flexiflasks are designed with high-quality materials that are resistant to mould and bacteria. They also come with a handy straw cleaner, making it easy to keep them spotless.
Steps to Clean Your Flexiflask
Rinse Daily: Just like your coffee mug, it's important to rinse the Flexiflask after each use or at least every other day.
Use the Straw Cleaner: Take advantage of the included straw cleaner to thoroughly scrub the straw and any hard-to-reach areas. This prevents mould from developing.
Dishwasher Safe: Flexiflasks are durable and can be placed in the dishwasher for an extra deep clean. However, hand washing daily is recommended for ongoing maintenance.
Let it Dry Completely: After washing, make sure to allow the bottle to dry fully. Leaving moisture inside can lead to mould growth.
By following these steps, you can ensure that your Flexiflask remains hygienic, safe, and mould-free, helping your child stay healthy.
