Sushi Hack for Kids - Reuse Soy Sauce Fish to Make Mealtime Exciting

A member of the Zazi Community shared a brilliant sushi hack with me, and I had to pass it along! If your kid loves sushi as much as mine, this little trick could make mealtime even more exciting.

The Sushi Hack

Here’s the idea: You know those little plastic fish filled with soy sauce that come with sushi? This person reuses them for other meals! Her child associates the fun of sushi with the cute fish, so by serving other meals with the same little soy sauce fish, her child gets that same sushi excitement with different foods.

It’s such a simple yet genius way to make everyday meals more fun for kids!

How to Use This Hack

Save the Fish: Next time you get sushi, save those little plastic soy sauce fish.

Use Them at Mealtimes: Refill the fish with soy sauce or any other kid-friendly sauce and serve them with a variety of meals.

Create Excitement: Your child will get excited, thinking they’re having a sushi-like experience, even if it’s just a regular meal!

I love how small, creative hacks like this can transform something as ordinary as mealtime into something special for our little ones.

This community never fails to amaze me with its creativity. If your kid is a sushi lover, try this out. It’s an easy way to bring more joy to their meals and make them feel like they’re having sushi night, even when they aren’t.
