How to Support your Toddler to Eat New Foods
Fun, varied exposure using kebab sticks 👌👌

Just a parent to parent reminder to keep serving fruit and vegetables that your kids don’t eat, even if they don’t eat them. Exposure matters, kids can't learn to like something they never see, touch, or taste.
Try serving foods in different, fun ways
This morning, I served August a plum. He flat-out refused it. No interest whatsoever.
Later, I served the exact same plum again…
Only this time, it was on a skewer. 🍡
Suddenly it was exciting. It was a kebab. He ate the whole thing.
We tried the same thing again at dinner - a mix of fruit and veggies on sticks, and guess what? Success again.
What does success mean?
Here's what I count as a win when it comes to food:
- Eating it
- Playing with it.
- Tasting it and spitting it out
- Even just touching it
It all counts. Because it’s exposure.
And exposure without pressure is how our kids learn.
