2 Rules I stick to at the Park
The park is FUN ENOUGH at ground level without adults having to intervene.
It's so tempting - but kids actually do fine not being put up to the top of the slide or held onto the monkey bars. Doing this makes them unsafe in two ways - they can't get down safely on their own, and they don't learn the effort required to get up to high Heights by themselves so are therefore more of a fall risk.
There's no rules at the park - they can explore however they want to. Even if that means climbing at the bottom of the slide. Follow your child's lead and help them to learn at their own level.
