Yep. They meet the criteria for first words. If your little one uses the same sound consistently and in the correct context (eg barks when they see a dog ) then that’s a first word. So it’s truly a good thing that you make lots of sounds together!

Repeat repeat repeat. Even if you’re bored - if your child is enjoying it then just keep going! We all learn best with repetition.
