Free Easter Bunny Letter Printable for Kids (Cute Keepsake Activity)
Easter is often mostly about stuffing our faces with chocolate, let’s face it. But if you dabble in a bit of easter bunny chat, it’s also a magic little window of time when they genuinely believe a bunny hops through the night leaving gifts just for them.
I designed this free printable to act like a bit of a time capsule to capture this time for my kids. A keepsake of sorts, so I can look back and see their imagination and idea of what the Easter Bunny looks like to them.
What's on the printable?
It's just a simple 1-pager so it won’t lose their attention! Your child gets to share who the biggest chocolate muncher in the house is (spoiler: they will absolutely dob you in), their favourite chocolate as a little hint for the bunny, a drawing of what they think the Easter Bunny looks like and a message for the bunny themselves. For younger children, just ask them what they want to say and write it word for word in their voice. That's the bit worth keeping.
A little Easter Eve routine 🌙
After dinner, get the printable out. Sit together at the table with pencils and crayons and make it feel like a special activity - maybe make it a post-bath, pyjamas-on kind of thing. Let them fill it in however they want - their version of the Easter Bunny. Once it's done, leave it outside their bedroom door before they go to sleep - the idea being the Easter Bunny will read it on the way through. It’s a bit like leaving carrots out for reindeer - it can become a little yearly ritual before bedtime. Then, once Easter morning is done and everyone’s full of chocolate, tuck the letter away somewhere safe. A memory box, a folder, or even just take a photo of it.
The keepsake part is the whole point
In ten years we won’t remember what chocolate we gave them but we’ll be able to treasure a piece of paper covered in their wobbly five-year-old handwriting, with a drawing of a bunny that looks suspiciously like a potato.
The printable is completely free - just download and print at home on regular A4.

Happy Easter. Hope it's filled with magic and that you get to snaffle away a decent bit of chocolate for yourself! You’ve got this.
